"And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." Isaiah 58:10 (New International Version)

A donation to Lutheran Social Services changes lives.

The seniors, youth, individuals, and families that we serve experience challenges on a daily basis. Short term financial hardship, lack of medical access, housing, food, -- the list is far too long -- can all be substantial barriers to self-esteem, self-sufficiency, and can rapidly deteriorate into a life-threatening emergency.

Many of todays less fortunate seniors are faced with decisions of whether to purchase medications or food because they cannot afford to purchase both. Todays youth are bombarded with commercial advertising and pressured by peers to challenge their own moral values, often to their own detriment. Disadvantaged families are being torn apart by financial and social hardships.

You can make a difference in the lives of seniors, youth, individuals, and families that we have the opportunity to serve. Throughout our short history, we have held a special concern for people who find themselves in short-term financial hardship. No matter what their circumstances, who they are, where they come from, or how they find themselves in their current situation.

Your investment in Lutheran Social Services of Nevada helps nurture a future for the seniors, youth, individuals and families that are seeking help through this difficult time in their lives.

We invite you to share in the future of our agency and our clients. The choice is yours, but the rewards are shared by everyone.
