Amanda is a life long resident of Las Vegas where she attends college and volunteers with Girl Scouts. She enjoys her time off with loving family including her two small siblings and dog as well as her friends. She is planning a degree in law. Jason Sharp Project 4 Youth Program Manager
Jason seeks to grow Project 4 Youth into a program which will support several thousand children educating them in prevention not only including substance awareness but suicide, hiv/aids, violence, gang, and poverty . Jason was a resident of Los Angeles most of his life, recently relocating to Las Vegas to be closer to his very close knit family. He has studied Business Administration and Childhood Education at UC Berkley and has played sports including track and football from Pop Warner through the professional ranks. His love for God and family and his commitment to the mission of LSSN shows through in his entire life. His love for children and his vision for Project 4 Youth is great, as he seeks to give them every opportunity to succeed. "Go Big or Go Home" is one of his mottos. Denise Goodwin Supportive Housing Manager
Denise earned a Bachelor degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology from Towson University. While attending Towson University, Denise served as an intern at the Boys Village located in Baltimore, MD. She has also worked for Dean Chapman in the office of Student Minority Affairs as a recruiter. Denise has worked in both corporate America and the private non-profit sector. She worked as a Professional Sales Representative for three Fortune 500 companies, including one Pharmaceutical Giant. After starting her family Denise returned to the field of social services, where she has held the positions of Case Manager, Program Coordinator and Program Manager for private non profit companies on both the east and west coast. Denise founded The Community Care for Kids Program, which was a community based alternative housing program for at-risk youth with behavioral, emotional and mental health needs. She has also managed the Second Chance Homes Program for the State of New Jersey. Denise has worked part-time for Family Service of Burlington County, New Jersey in their Supervised Apartment Program for the High Functioning Developmentally Disabled Population. Prior to relocating to Clark County, NV in December of 2005, she served on the Board of Trustees for The Family Support Organization of Burlington County, New Jersey. Denise joined Lutheran Social Services in April of 2006 as a Case Manager for The Katrina Aid Today Project, where she assisted families affected by the Hurricane Katrina disaster living in Southern Nevada with comprehensive long-term recovery case management. Now as Program Manager for our Transitional Living Supportive Housing Program, Denise continues to service the family unit by transitioning homeless families from homelessness to secure and stable housing.

Patrick Montejano Emergency Services Program Manager
Patrick Montejano received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government with an emphasis in public administration from Eastern Washington University in 2001. At EWU, Patrick was employed by the Chicano Education Program and EWU Freshman Orientation Program. During this time, Patrick traveled to rural high schools to promote post secondary education to first generation students. He also assisted incoming freshman with resident hall living and accessing campus services. In 2002, Patrick was employed with the American Cancer Society promoting cancer awareness and raising funds for cancer research. Patrick raised over $300,000 to help the fight against cancer and served on planning committees to promote early detection. In addition, he provided support to cancer patients that were facing breast and prostate cancer. In 2004, Patrick moved to Ft. Mohave, AZ and joined Arizona's Children Association as a Program Supervisor for the Healthy Families of Arizona program. In this capacity he provided individual and family service plans for their clients. Patrick recently moved to Las Vegas and joined Lutheran Social Services of Nevada as their Emergency Food & Services Program Manager in June of 2007.
