"We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Thessalonians: 2-3 (New International Version)

Throughout your life you may think about the gifts you've been given and you reflect on how you can give back to others. To pay it forward, to help someone who is down on their luck. An important aspect of your life may be the desire to help others. You see the desperation in the eyes of the homeless man that you drive by everyday on your way to work. You see the anguish in the young mother's eyes as she struggles to care for her children. You see the sadness in the aged as they struggle to make ends meet after the death of their beloved spouse. You want to help but don't know exactly how to do that.
You put your faith and desires into action when you give to LSSN.
Even the smallest of gifts makes an impact in the lives of others now as in Jesus' day.
He (Jesus) also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. "I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on." Luke 21:2-4 (New International Version)
LSSN is a good steward of the gifts given to serve our community; more than 90 percent of each dollar goes directly to service. Without your faithful help and continued support the mission of LSSN would not be possible.
