Throughout the years, many people, young, and young at heart, have supported LSSN in a variety of ways. They have helped build a strong foundation and tradition of serving and caring for people in need. The results of their assistance cannot possibly be measured. However, their efforts are vital in helping individuals and families realize the inner strength they have to continue through challenging times. LSSN is extremely grateful for all the people who have given of their time and talents to help people in need.
Volunteers are involved within the agency at every level. Entities such as the University of Phoenix (Human Services degree program), Beal Bank and Embarq have provided professional volunteers and students on a consistent basis. Volunteer opportunities exist in a variety of ways. From helping in our food pantry, our administrative office, mentoring for youth and families or with any of our programs, you can touch the lives of people in need.
Food pantry volunteers to help in the food pantry, even on a seasonal basis.
Fundraising and special events assistance.
LSSN staff mentors are also needed.
