While you are getting in the Christmas spirit, don’t forget to vote for our Tree of Hope!
This year LSSN is once again participating in Boyd Gaming’s Trees of Hope Contest. Now in its 4th year, Trees of Hope is a nationwide tree-decorating competition benefiting nonprofit organizations. Each year, Trees of Hope invites nonprofits from around the Valley to decorate trees in casinos throughout the city. Once the trees are decorated, YOU can vote for the winner!
There are two ways to vote. You can either visit each casino and vote for your favorite charity’s decorated tree, or you can vote online by visiting the voting page here. If you would like to vote in person, our tree is at the Suncoast Casino, located at 9090 Alta Dr, 89145. Each casino will award a first place prize of $2,000 to the winning tree! A Boyd Gaming player’s card account is required to vote on property.
You can also vote for our tree online by visiting the Trees of Hope event page. The online vote gives us a second chance to win a $2,500 first-place prize, $1,500 second-place prize, or a $1,000 third-place prize.
The voting in person and online closes on Sunday, December 16th, so make sure to vote early!
For more information, the Trees of Hope press release is can be read here.
LSSN received an honorable mention and a prize of $500 at the 2018 Trees of Hope Awards Ceremony. Thank you to everyone who voted for our tree, both online and in person!
