Lutheran Social Services of Nevada Wine Tasting
Local nonprofit raises funds for homelessness prevention programs and services
LAS VEGAS – Lutheran Social Services of Nevada (LSSN), a nonprofit organization that provides homelessness prevention programs and services, will host their wine tasting gala, April 28, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the organization’s new $3.75 million headquarters, 4323 Boulder Highway. Tickets are $65 and include tasting a selection of fine wines, gourmet appetizers prepared by a personal chef in LSSN’s new demonstration kitchen and a live auction. Corporate sponsorships begin at $1,500 and include multiple elements. For tickets or to learn more about corporate sponsorship levels, please contact Armena Mnatsakanyan at email@example.com or 702.839-8777.
Proceeds fund programs for low income seniors, families and individuals such as LSSN’s DigiMart digital food choice pantry, Open Air Market, job readiness services and rental assistance.
“Our annual wine tasting gala is a fun way to learn more about LSSN and while supporting critical programs for our community’s most vulnerable citizens,” said Armena Mnatsakanyan, executive director of Lutheran Social Services of Southern Nevada.
Annual fundraising events help the organization continue to serve over 15,000 individuals and families in need annually, and to successfully break the continuous cycle of poverty, homelessness and hunger in our community. LSSN opened its doors in 1985 as a small clothing closet run by a small group of volunteers and has since grown to a nationally recognized organization that serves over 180,000 local families in need in Southern Nevada with a variety of programs.
