Summer 2023 Back to School Drive
In 2022 we were able to serve 823 children with our Back to School events. This year, with your help, we would like to serve a thousand or more children with school supplies that will set them up to have a great start to the new school year! We are going to have a large Back to School Resource Fair in collaboration with our Community Partners on Friday, August 4th from 9am to 12pm.
Collect
We need school supplies, collection sites, and advocates that can help us mobilize the masses using word of mouth, social media, church lobbies, business offices, and board rooms. We need backpacks, crayons, scissors, washable markers, highlighters, pencils and pencil boxes, erasers, hand sanitizer, tissues, glue and glue sticks, watercolors, pens, index cards, binders, loose paper, spiral notebooks, and other related items which will be distributed to the children of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas that need them the most. If you would like, we can drop off a bin like the one below to make collections even easier!

Can your organization or group provide a resource at our Back-to-School Event on August 4th? The event will be from 10am to 1pm. (Arrival time 9:00am). Our most recent drive for Easter we served 390 children from 229 families with the help of Champagne LIfe Gift Baskets, Hope for the City, Faith in Humanity, Nevada Health Centers, Anthem, Liberty Dental, Dr Kopolow and Girisgen tested vision, Nevada Homeless Alliance, Dad Inc, and several other groups.
