Lutheran Social Services of Nevada has recently join the fight to help kids get signed up for health insurance. The Department of Health and Human Services and Lutheran Social Services of Nevada have combined their efforts to address the need for insurance for children. LSSN currently has two Community Health Workers to provide outreach services throughout Clark County.
LSSN is bridging the gap of need to insurance coverage for children and adults. The Community Health Workers can also assist with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly know as food stamps) applications and Energy Assistance Applications.
