Dinner Boxes for Sherman Gardens and Marble Manner public housing residents
Among our planned community events this time of year, our Annual Easter Basket and Community Food Distribution proved to be a success and a big help to families in our neighborhood. Thanks to LSSN staff and our community partners at the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority, we were able to once again provide Children’s Easter Baskets and Easter Dinner Boxes to residents in the Sherman Gardens and Marble Manner public housing sites.
A total of 6,600 pounds of food including fresh produce, canned vegetables, and all of the makings of a great Easter dinner were distributed to area residents. We are especially blessed to see our efforts reflected in the lives of the direct clients of our incredible Supportive Housing Program that continue to progress towards self growth and self sufficiency. They too were able to receive both food and festive Easter baskets for their children.
