Mrs. Costa has been coming to our food pantry for many years. She is a senior and is a grandmother of 5 beautiful grandchildren. During her recent appointment for grocery assistance she thanked everyone at LSSN. At her previous appointment, she was able to get Easter baskets for each of her 5 grandchildren. The children’s parents were not able to purchase Easter baskets this year because of shortages and so she was so grateful to make Easter very special this year for her family.
We were able to serve 403 children from 162 families this year during Easter this year shattering all of our previous records! Thank you to the ladies from First Good Shepherd Lutheran, St. Andrew Lutheran, Christ the Servant, New Song Lutheran, Bank of George, Community Lutheran, Four Seasons Church, and the residents of Las Ventanas Retirement Community for making Easter special for so many families.
