Pantry Receiver and Stocker

The food pantry is constantly receiving donations that must be sorted weighed and readied for distribution. The Pantry Stocker stocks and keeps the pantry shelves full for clients to shop on pantry days. Assists in carrying donations into pantry, weighs and records donation in the records-keeping system. Organizes and sorts through donations, stock and keeps pantry shelves full for clients. Tracks expiration dates and removes expired items. Monitors pantry areas for cleanliness and order, and helps clients carry out items out if needed.


Skills Required

  • Must possess the physical ability to carry, sort and stock food.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes are required.


Time Commitment

  • 3-6 hour commitment during open business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Schedules can be accommodated for daily, weekly, monthly or project-based commitments.

DigiMart Service – 10 am each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  The pantry will close when it reaches the 20th client of the day. First come, first serve.

DigiMart is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday

DigiMart – Please do not form a line before 9:45 a.m.

Open Air Markets – Please visit our open-air market each 2nd Saturday of the month located at 3020 E Bonanza Rd, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (while supplies last) Please bring your I.D.

Open Air Markets – Please visit our open-air market each 4th Saturday of the month located at 542 S Decatur Blvd, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (while supplies last) Please bring your I.D.

Rental, Utility, MediCaid, SNAP, Nevada Check-Up services are available Monday – Thursday from 8 – 10 a.m.

Birth Certificates/I.D are available every Monday except holidays from 8:00 AM to 10 AM.
